“A picture of the cat sent by a friend to our group for parents of children with cleft palates. This was happen in June, last year. This cat was found by an animal rescue group in Minnesota. We loved to keep this cat with us. It has a cleft lip and full heterochromia iridum, like our 7-year-old son Madden. They just had to be best friends. It’s really wonderful to having a pet who make you feel like you’re not alone” : said by Christina Humphreys.
Do you ask about heterochromia iridum?
It is a part of the iris has more than one colour. Less than 1% of the general population are total heterochromia iridum in which the eyes are all different colours. This is very rare, same as cleft lips.
They brought this cute cat to their home in Oklahoma with the support of their friends.
The parents of Madden said that “Normally, we’re not hasty, but we highly believed that we were supposed to love this cat. Their new family member, Moon and Madden became perfect friends quickly. We will look for lovely world which full of bullies and mean words. It is fair to say that Madden and I were told to travel together and this cat symbolizes love”
Madden’s mother shared his feelings as “I can’t believe how well everything worked out. Even though it is unbelievable, these two littles were closer to each other. This cat was so far away from us and I’m really thankful for friends and people we didn’t know helped us meet and take kitty for us. Everyone needs a true friend and understood. I’m glad Moon is around for Madden. I hope that Madden will learn about how fantastic to being different with Moon. I also hope Moon will be a cute friend who is easy to understand Madden. It’s a miracle that these two good-looking men look so much alike. Actually, I didn’t want an attention to our family, but I hope to helps kids with cleft lips, even if it’s just to raise awareness”
After getting picked on the school bus, Madden became famous who has a great four-legged friend, he can talk about how different they are and how that makes them unique.
“Be nice to every people you met. In the video, he brags that we’ve already been through many hard things.” Treat everyone well! If you’re rude to them, you’ll miss many great people. No problem, if a person who is treating you poorly, be nice to them also. Because the people who don’t deserve love need it the most.
Madden’s mother told Love What Matters that the bullying “broke his spirit” at the time, but she hopes that Moon will help her son feel better about himself.
“Some students had very bad behavior to him. His spirit was severely broken, which was a challenging year for him. We can change thoughts about bullies and how they make us feel. Bullying still happens every now and then. We’ll probably always run into someone rude and it is hurt. If we can’t change other’s acts but we can try to change how we see things”
Further she added that “Anyone isn’t perfect. Still, we’ll always do our best to be kind to others, even when we’re fighting a formidable opponent or when being kind seems like the last thing we want to do in a tricky situation. I want Madden and our other two sons to grow up as kindly and good people”.
